De Further Offshore Emergency Training (FOET) is de herhalingstraining van de BOSIET. De OPITO FOET met CA-EBS is de nieuwe OPITO standaard. Bij de vernieuwde training wordt de module LAPP/EBS vervangen door de module CA-EBS. U kunt met uw huidige BOSIET of FOET certificaat, volgens de oude standaard, de nieuwe standaard volgen.
De OPITO FOET dient iedere 4 jaar herhaald te worden. Zo blijft de cursist op de hoogte van de risico’s en gevaren. Tevens leert de cursist hoe hij moet handelen in noodsituaties om zichzelf en zijn collega’s in veiligheid te brengen. Dit wordt onderverdeeld in verschillende disciplines, brandbestrijding, medische basiskennis en overleven op zee.
