La formation GWO Advanced Rescue est une formation de base supplémentaire conçue par la GWO (Global Wind Organisation) pour tous ceux qui travaillent dans des parcs éoliens offshore et onshore qui n’ont aucune expérience avancée en sauvetage (formation) ni un certificat valide des modules inclus dans ce cours. Ce cours ne remplace pas la formation de base à la sécurité, mais est une formation supplémentaire que vous pouvez suivre en plus.

Au cours du cours de 3 jours, les délégués acquièrent des connaissances sur la façon de secourir des personnes en hauteur et en profondeur, par exemple depuis l’aile, le sous-sol, la nacelle, le hub ou des espaces confinés. Avec des séances théoriques et des exercices pratiques, les participants apprennent à agir dans des situations de sauvetage lorsqu’ils sont seuls et en groupe.

De GWO Advanced Rescue Training is een aanvullende Basic Training ontworpen door de GWO (Global Wind Organisation) voor iedereen die werkzaam is bij offshore en onshore windparken die geen geavanceerde reddings(training)ervaring hebben noch een geldig certificaat van de modules die zijn opgenomen in de training. Deze cursus is geen vervanging van de Basic Safety Training, maar is een extra training die je ernaast kunt doen.

Tijdens de 3-daagse cursus doen deelnemers kennis op over het redden van mensen op hoogte en in de diepte, zoals vanuit de vleugel, fundatie, gondel, hub of besloten ruimtes. Met theoretische sessies en praktische oefeningen leren deelnemers hoe te handelen in reddingssituaties wanneer ze alleen en in een team zijn.

During the GWO Advanced Rescue Training all theoretical and practical aspects will be discussed. The course consists of 4 modules and each module starts with some theory, which participants will practice later. Before starting the course, participants need to have a valid GWO Working at Height, GWO Manual Handling, and GWO First Aid certificate, or the GWO Basic Safety Training certificate.

Course Content of GWO Advanced Rescue Training

The course consists of 4 separate modules:

• GWO Module Nacelle, Tower, and Basement Rescue
• GWO Module Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue
• GWO Module Single Rescue Nacelle, Tower, and Basement Rescue
• GWO Module Single Rescue Hub, Spinner, and Inside Blade Rescue

The delegates receive 4 certificates, one for each module. The certificates for the group modules are valid for 2 years. The validity of the solo rescue is unlimited. After 2 years you can participate in the GWO Advanced Rescue Training Refresher to renew your certificate.
